Rachel currently resides in Ayer, Massachusetts with Scott, her husband and their Labrador retrievers. She received a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After working for a large financial institution for several years she decided to focus on her creativity and design skills, and worked at a well-established furniture and fabric store to gain vast knowledge and experience in many aspects of interior design. Rachel then earned her Certification in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design and started her business. She is a trade member of The Boston Design Center.
