Persephone’s Spring is a boutique interior design studio located in DUMBO Brooklyn, NY. Danielle Herman, Principal & Founder, has studied interior design at both Parsons and the New England School of Art and Design. Her favorite styles to work in include Danish modern, French modern, and eclectic. She appreciates the blending of minimal clean lines with interesting textures and color, while letting the beauty of natural materials speak for themselves. Her aesthetic is influenced by classic Scandinavian and French design principles. She believes design is something we experience, and that well designed spaces can improve mood, well being, and productivity. Her goal is to create spaces that fully express her clients’ vision. Danielle has a B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. from Columbia University. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her adopted puppy Benji, cooking, yoga, holistic wellness, creative writing and drawing. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.
