Maison Interior Design is a full service interior design firm founded and led by Sarah Nemec. Our mission is to provide a space that is comfortable, beautiful and tells the story of the people who reside there, no matter the style. Designing your home is an intimate experience that we are honored to share with you. We seek to provide an experience that is fun and an end result that provides a special place that is unique to you. Sarah has worked in the interior design industry for 8 years, having gotten her start with a top Austin design firm and having designed many award winning projects. She has also managed and been a buyer for a boutique home interiors store. This experience has given her an in-depth knowledge of the home furnishings industry as well as furniture construction, and provided her with a discerning eye for quality. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in Studio Art/Fibers from Texas State University. Her artistic background provides a unique perspective in creating interiors. Her special talent for color and texture influences her work, as does her focus on an overall feel of good scale, proportion, and balance. Sarah also expresses her creativity through her hobbies. She loves to cook, knit, and has a passion for giving old furniture a revived existence. She also believes that life is better paired with a little champagne.
