I’m Maggie Overby, a New Orleans native currently living in South Carolina. I have a degree in architecture but I have become an interior design junkie and a DIY-er extraordinaire. I am also a military wife and a mom of two. Being married to the military has meant ten moves in the last fifteen years and lots of houses to put my stamp on. I am now an expert at setting up house quickly and making a house a home without a high end budget. When we moved to Germany in 2013 I decide it was time to start this blog to share my adventures with the world. Of course we’ve move again since then and are now residing in South Carolina. I’ve gone back to work full time designing and project managing kitchen and bath remodels but I’m still all about making my house my home.
