Martin Brudnizki Design Studio is an internationally acclaimed interior architecture and design studio based in London and New York. Founded by Martin Brudnizki in 2000, the team is composed of over 70 interior designers, architects, lighting designers, product designers and art consultants and has experience creating hotels, restaurants, bars, private members’ clubs; alongside residential developments and helping a select number of people design their dream homes. At the heart of the Studio’s work is a profound commitment to the individual and their experience of an interior. Through the careful study of a project’s context and a client’s lifestyle, a dedication to functionality and a love of layering different materials, textures and styles, the Studio hand-crafts environments that enable our clients to develop personal and long-lasting relationships with their interior spaces. Martin Brudnizki Design Studio works across the world with notable clients including: Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Soho House Group, Caprice Holdings, The Birley Group, The Royal Academy of Arts, Nobu Matsuhisa, Mark Hix and Daniel Boulud. Through this experience the Studio has acquired a high level of expertise in the design and realisation of high-profile and luxury schemes, always reducing the complexity of any project to simple design solutions. Born in Stockholm, Martin’s love for design started from a young age. His mother was a stylist and his father a mechanical engineer; the combination of these elements embedded a deep understanding of aesthetics alongside a grounding in functionality. Having gained a degree in Economics at the University of Stockholm, Martin enrolled at The American University in London to study Interior Architecture where he was deeply inspired by an eclectic range of architects and designers, including Carlo Scarpa, Paul Dupree-Lafon and Dorothy Draper. Following a number of successful positions at renowned interior design firms, Martin established his eponymous Studio in London in 2000 and a New York Studio in 2012. Martin is listed within the London Evening Standard’s Progress 1000, House and Garden’s Top 100 Leading Interior Designers, Debrett's 500 Most Influential People in the UK, The Who's Who List of Influential People around the World, Elle Decoration’s List of Best British Architects and Designers and Wallpaper* Magazine’s Power 200, with the latter describing him as “one of the best restaurant and hotel designers of his generation”. In 2015 Martin established And Objects, a separate product design studio built on his experience in interior design. Recent collaborations include collections with George Smith, Porta Romana and Christoper Farr Cloth. Martin is a patron of the Sir John Soane Museum in London.
