Lorraine Cress is an Interior Designer specializing in intimate spaces such as residential homes, apartments, lofts, office/work spaces, cafes, lounges, yoga studios and boutiques. Lorraine offers a unique eye and approach to interiors through eastern Feng Shui and Vastu principles, sustainability, cultural and period references, and modern design to create eclectic, functional, cozy and intimate spaces. She works with her clients to address specific needs and challenges within a budget to reflect the personality and lifestyle of each individual space dweller, while considering the purpose and practicality, location, and potential of the space. Lorraine began her design education in 2005 at Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia studying Interior Architecture and Design, and continued her studies at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has a diverse background in kitchen and bath design, hospitality, historic preservation architecture, and residential interior spaces. While her passion lies in all aspects of Architecture and Interior Design, color and light are the key elements to a beautiful, harmonious interior that she enjoys working with most.
