After working for a prominent Chicago designer for two years Susan began her business in 1994 with her partner and dear friend Shelly Mcelwee. They worked successfully together for 8 years before Shelly and her husband moved to North Carolina to start a leather furniture company. Shelly and Susan still consult with each other on projects today. Susan has a strong classic European styling. Susan’s yearly trips to Italy and passion for Italian Culture has strongly influenced her love for creating interiors with a classic European look. Susan believes that clientele are diverse in many ways but all share a common desire when hiring a professional interior designer. People want comfort, elegance, livability and a unique setting which is their own. Susan’s goal is to create a clean and classic interior with a warm and welcoming appeal that is a tribute to her clients life and lifestyle. Susan resides in Western Springs, Illinois. She is married and a proud mother of Gabrielle, Tommy, Anabella and a Wheaton Terrier name Reese.
