A Texas native who spent her formative years in South Carolina, Lisa brings southern comfort and charm to her interiors. Her design career began over 20 years ago at an antique shop in the heart of Columbia, SC. Lisa subsequently spent periods in Savannah and Atlanta, affording her the opportunity to absorb additional southern cultures, before settling in Charlotte. Lisa's greatest gifts are that of spatial planning and blending client's existing pieces with infusions of newness. These gifts were undoubtedly honed through renovating, decorating, and re-decorating six personal homes which she and her husband, Jim, purchased as he was journeying through the middle years of his business career. These ranged from a post WWII bungalow in Columbia, to traditionals in Atlanta and Charlotte, to a magnificent seven fireplace Savannah jewel designed and erected in the 1920s. Lisa has since enjoyed sharing her skills and talents with clients as they rework primary residences and vacation properties from the mountains to the coast. She has developed a flair for blending unique vintage and antique finds with new, expertly crafted pieces to create beautiful homes which exude an inviting warmth and comfort. She has been inspired by the recent addition of designer Hadley Quisenberry, who brings a modern eye to the mix. This mother-daughter duo combines a lifetime of experience and expertise with a fresh design perspective to create enchanting, inviting spaces.
