Thirty four years after starting her career as an interior designer in Los Angeles, Suity Liongosari continues to serve clients throughout the Los Angeles area from her offices on the Monterey Peninsula. Suity provides complete design services on projects ranging from simple one-room remodels to complex new-home constructions. On all her projects, Suity creates the design concept and then works closely with architects, contractors, sub-contractors and other specialists. In her client-centered approach, she seeks to reflect their wishes while providing expert guidance and counsel from project initiation to completion. Suity is fully qualified to take on every aspect of any design project, beginning with the creation of floor plans and proceeding through the selection of colors, fixtures, furniture, and the many finishing touches that turn a well-designed house into a personalized home. “An excellent design is one that reflects the tastes and personality of the home owners in a pleasing whole characterized by layouts, colors and accessories that not only provide aesthetically pleasing spaces, but also exude a sense of comfort and well-being,” Suity says. “A house shouldn’t be a showcase; it should be practical. I like my clients to feel comfortable in the homes I design for them.” Suity graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Woodbury University in 1982 and then joined Kreiss Design in Los Angeles. During her time there, she completed multiple ambitious projects for high-profile clients in Los Angeles, New York, Palm Beach and other major cities, before opening her own design company, Liongosari Design, in 1988.
