Melissa received her undergraduate degree from Roger Williams University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Architecture with honors. Before founding Lacuna Design, Melissa previously worked for notable firms in New York, Boston and Providence. Melissa has been a guest critic over the years at Roger Williams University. Melissa is a Licensed Architect in the states of Rhode Island, Connecticut , Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Florida. KRISTOPHER LAWSON Principal Kris received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture in 2000. Prior to joining his wife in the practice Kris had worked in the Construction / Building material side of the industry as well for notable architectural firms in Philadelphia, New York and Boston. Kris has been a a guest critic at SCI-Arc, Columbia University, Parsons and Roger Williams University. RYAN T. DANFORTH Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Roger Williams University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Architecture. Before joining Lacuna Design, Ryan previously worked for several Rhode Island architectural firms as well as a steady freelance career in both residential and commercial architecture. CALLIE HOPKINS Callie received her undergraduate degree from The College of William and Mary in 2007 with a Bachelor of Architecture. Before joining Lacuna Design, Callie previously worked at firms in both Boston, and Washington, D.C. Callie is also LEED certified.
