Live Your Life in Color.” Vibrant Studios is the vision of Interior Designer, Kimberly Coombs. A Chicago native raised minutes from Manhattan, she currently resides in Raleigh, NC. Her design style reflects the cities, traditions, and cultures she’s enjoyed throughout her career. After receiving an undergraduate degree in Marketing from Montclair State University, she moved to Raleigh to pursue her passion for Interior Design in a young city experiencing rapid growth. Having received her Bachelor’s Degree, she attended Wake Technical Community College to focus on the technical, and technological, facets of design. Here she was awarded her degree in Interior Design, and certification in Graphic Design. Kimberly made her industry debut specializing in custom residential interiors as an Associate Designer for a local kitchen & bath showroom. Wanting to expand her knowledge from specialized interiors to encompassing whole-home projects, she co-founded her first successful full-service design firm. She then combined her design experience and business acumen to create Vibrant Studios, and tackle her next challenge: light commercial and mixed-use environments. From complete residential design to constructing functional restaurant layouts, Vibrant Studios’ offers tailored concepts in residential and small-scale commercial design.
