Katherine Stern is known for her enthusiastic approach for every project and the close collaboration she establishes with her clients. One hallmark of Katherine's decor is the repurposing of existing items from the home and using “High-Low” styling. She has an extraordinary take on color, ranging from creating a room in hues of all white or a using a unique combination of strong colors. When staging properties for sale, Katherine highlights the architecture of the home to precisely target today’s buyers. Katherine attended Pratt Institute and was on the initial editorial staff of the National Lampoon magazine as Assistant Art Director, and went on to design album covers for CBS Records. She garnered industry awards as a Creative Director in advertising, album cover designer and magazine design. Along the way, Katherine developed a passion for remodeling brownstones and condos. From home design to total reconstruction, Katherine brings to the table her experience as a certified New York State Property Inspector and world traveler.
