A graduate of George Mason University with a BA in Psychology, she grew to understand the psychological power of design and how it transforms not just the home, but the heart as well. With her father's entrepreneurial spirit and her mother's creative brilliance, Kati launched KCI in 2017 bringing sophisticated yet affordable design to the Washington DC Metro Area. Kati splits her time between the corporate jungle as an administrative analyst and pursuing her entrepreneurial endeavors. She boosted her design knowledge by completing a few semesters in an interior design program which allowed her to learn the basics and key elements of design. Through continuing education she is pursuing a professional certification in interior decorating and home organization. Blessed with the opportunity to serve her community through the power of design, Kati is a lead designer for The Oasis Alliance, an initiative which aids in designing inspiring healing spaces for individuals or families who have experienced trauma. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and encourager, Tommy, and their two sweet kids Leilani and Liam.
