About Julia Julia Robberts is the Principal Designer and Founder of Julia Robberts Interior Design. Raised and educated in the U.K., Julia has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Africa before moving to California in 2000. This exposure to International Architecture, Art History and cultural influences formed the basis of Julia’s passion for great design. Julia attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco and holds a Bachelors in Arts, and Masters degree from two top tier British Universities. She is also a qualified UK Chartered Surveyor. With over 20 years experience working in property consulting and design, Julia has completed a range of design projects spanning new construction, major refurbishments, interior decorating and staging. Julia is an Associate Member of the Interior Design Society. The design philosophy at Julia Robberts Interiors is a simple one. Every interior is unique and to be successful should truly reflect the personality of those living in and using the space. Achieving the balance between function and form is what ultimately creates an environment that feels right. Julia’s style is known for bringing a sophisticated elegance to contemporary design. The approach to a project is based on 4 key elements, a strong design vision, effective project management, open and honest communication, and always maintaining a sense of humor.
