Since youth I’ve been hyper-sensitive to my surroundings, and obsessed by “fixing” houses that have suffered under the hands of un-knowing owners. I’ve put myself through this process six times, and am currently completing the renovation of a California condo for myself and my partner. Each move leaves me with a deeper understanding of what it takes to create harmony with the surroundings, the structure and the client. This is the foundation of my inspiration; the point to which I always return. Mine is a holistic approach, grounded in attention to detail, and one I feel is necessary in making a complete experience out of any home environment. There is no such a thing as a bad house. I design award-winning interiors for people who seek individuality in their homes, throughout the region and nation. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, my education includes apprenticeship to the world-renowned Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, and the workrooms of Holzheimer Interiors—providing a broad knowledge base unique among my peers.
