Joan S. MacDowell is an interior designer with over 30 years experience decorating both residential and commercial properties. The preeminent designer in northeast Pennsylvania, she has worked on multi-million dollar homes in the area as well as in Boca Raton, Florida and Birmingham, Alabama, where her client lists continue to grow. She was also featured on HGTV’s hit show, Decorating Cents, appearing in their highest rated episodes. The producers also handpicked her for their highly publicized special, where she redecorated the living area of Minnesota’s Governor’s Mansion for then-governor Jesse Ventura. In addition, in 2003 she was hand-picked by producers to design the kitchen and family room for Regis & Kelly’s Dream Home Giveaway.
