I currently work as a Designer for these two firms, where I support and assist the lead designer/owner in conversations with clients to determine the preference, purpose, and function of the intended design space, the desired budget, and other factors affecting interior planning; Taking project measurements, documenting the spaces to create floor plans, sections and elevations from field measurements, and designing lighting and electrical plans, reflected ceiling plans, CAD drawings, 3-D renderings. Also, source furniture, hardware and fixtures, choose materials, source fabrics and finishes, research new vendors, generate client presentations, construction of project worksheets, room finish schedules, color boards, as well as visit client sites. Get quotes from vendors, communicate with contractors, handled purchase orders, deliveries and invoicing. And finally I assist with the installation of furniture and staging homes.
