Wendy Yeakley, IDS Associate and owner of Homestyles Interior Design, leads many design projects for the firm. From her many years experience and education in Interior Design, Wendy has developed ongoing relationships with clients and industry partners. She prides herself in creating interiors that are not only beautiful but also functional for clients’ individual needs. She has been designing homes in the Charlotte area since 1997. Wendy’s clients will tell you that she has a special talent for defining your personal style even if you’re not certain of it on your own. Currently, Wendy serves as an executive board member at The Lake Norman YMCA and chairs various program committees at the same branch. She has supported the Make a Wish foundation by designing the 2005 Holiday Wish House interior and sitting on the steering committee for the 2006 Wish House gala. She also enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, their various activities, and is an active an active member of her local church by offering her time to make a difference in her community and beyond. B R I T T A N Y R A I N E S Brittany Raines, IIDA Associate and fellow interior designer, has been a member of the Homestyles team for 8 years now. She moved to Charlotte from the quaint town of Brevard North Carolina, nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. Brittany grew up around construction sites and decided early on that interior design was in her future. She pursued this dream at the Art Institute of Charlotte where she received an Associate’s degree in Interior Design. While finishing up her first degree she took on an internship with Wendy at Homestyles. She continued to work alongside Wendy gaining valuable field experience while she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. She graduated as class valedictorian in 2008. During her tenure at Homestyles Brittany has completed a multitude of projects ranging from new construction to small room re-vamps.
