Growing up in Northern California, Hilary Ridge acquired an appreciation for modern design. "I always loved the San Francisco Painted Ladies. The outside of the Victorian row houses were painted in peach, pink, seafoam green and every other sherbet color that you could imagine. Inside there was this amazing airiness from the high ceilings, white walls and thick crown molding. I think that I am always trying to recreate that aesthetic." After graduating from UC Santa Cruz, Hilary moved to Boston with her family, who had returned to their New England roots. Beginning her career as an interior designer, she entered the Boston Architectural College and began designing for Rolf Benz Hulsta Studio, a luxury furniture showroom in Park Plaza. In 2007, Hilary completed the BAC's Decorative Arts Certificate program and worked as a designer and and leader for Mitchell Gold and Restoration Hardware. Today, as the principal for her own firm, Hilary is inspired by bringing her client's dream homes to life. "I am fortunate to develop personal relationships with my clients and create designs that truly reflect their personalities."
