Studies have shown that most people spend over 90 percent of their day in interior spaces. The space that we spend our time in can elevate or lower our mood. Our favorite quote about interior spaces is “your environment shapes the way you feel and interact with the rest of the world.” Subtle elements such as color, a pattern, or textures can subconsciously (or consciously in some cases) make us feel good or bad. Interior design professionals can provide functional but attractive spaces that fit each person appropriately. At FaGalde Interior Design we match people to interiors one individual at a time. To us, it is impossible to design a residential interior without knowing the people that will spend time in the space. The whole process is built around the client. We will never try to convince a client to buy something for their home simply because it’s popular at the time. We design with the intent to create a space that will not just satisfy our client, but create long term happiness. In our initial consultation we find out about our clients likes and dislikes. We have created a unique questionnaire that helps us learn about our clients. Many times in this initial consultation we discover things that homeowners did not realize were important to them. One of the most common phrases we get from our clients is that “you really know my taste.” We attribute this because we spend time getting to know our clients on that first consult.
