I design attractive copper wall art that captures mood and movement in time. Copper is a basic element that is traditionally associated with beauty. I hammer and tool copper sheets through an old-world process called copper repousse. I finish the copper with patinas and acrylic stains. Originally, my parents trained me in bronze casting. I transitioned to copper as a more accessible metal medium. Regarding both interior design and copper art, environmentally sustainable methods and materials are important to me. I try to use natural and non-toxic materials as much as possible. My design aesthetic has a clear connection to the natural world while retaining contemporary relevance.
