While growing up in eastern suburbs of Cleveland, I was lucky enough to have parents that allowed me to explore and experiment on their home. Beginning with my own room and then expanding into the large adjoining bath shared by their master bedroom. I carefully selected textiles, coordinating paint colors, and accessories borrowed from other parts of the house and rescued from neighborhood tree lawns to fill the space. As I worked on the room during the summer of 1992 my brother affectionately renamed the room the “Pee Palace”. With my lengthy showers and daily routine, I managed to turn the room into my own private “Palace” indeed! I gravitated toward classic styles and objects from an earlier era crafted with style, great care, and integrity. My love for all things antique later translated into a BFA degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Historic Preservation. After rehabilitating and redecorating two of my own historic homes I was driven to share my passion for design with family, friends, clients, and hopefully with you as well.
