Elizabeth Bauer opened a furniture and home accessories shop in the West Village in April 2007. Her shop showcased her sophisticated style; old world design with a flair. Her passion for scouring the flea markets from Paris to Palm Beach resulted in product that was both classic and unique. Soon after the opening of her shop Elizabeth established her design firm. Her appreciation for Mid Century and European influences are apparent as she creates spaces that are bold, glamorous and full of personality. Her keen eye for detail is reflected in her custom furniture and decorative finishes. Elizabeth works with her client's needs to design homes that are functional, comfortable and distinguished. Elizabeth is a native New Yorker and attended Bates College and New York University. After completing her education, Elizabeth worked for Vogue and Oprah's Home Magazine before returning to pursue a career in the interior design industry. In addition to her design firm, Elizabeth and her mother have opened a home accessories and furniture shop, Store No. 2, on Nantucket.
