My entire life has been a journey through the school of design. My grandfather, father, and brother are all gifted carpenters and my grandmother has an incredible gift for design, an effortless ability to make any space look rich and beautiful. These influences were woven into me and my mother told me, from a young age, that decorating was my gift. However, life led me down a different path and I graduated from college with a teaching degree, but my passion always led me back to pursuits in interior design. I have worked for the past ten years as a self-taught designer and consultant, and built a reputation through word of mouth and years of perseverance in my home town of Sahuarita, Arizona. Once all four of my children were in school, and after some not-so-subtle urging from my loving and supportive husband, I completed a design internship with The Meitzenheimer Group and started my own design business in my current home town of Prosper, Texas. I have a working knowledge of all facets of design: from coordinating the building of a new home, to remodeling projects - large and small. I have knocked it down, torn it out, painted it, tiled it, sewn it, and most importantly - dreamt it, while loving every minute of it. My motto is Timeless Transformations... because I believe that everyone can live in a beautiful space that reflects their personality, is cost effective, and doesn’t need to be redone every couple of years, but will grow with the family who dwells there. Design is my gift, my heart, and now - my dream realized.
