Phyllis Harbinger, ASID, CID has been running Design Concepts/Interiors, LLC, her own design firm, since 1993, servicing both commercial and residential clients in the New York Metropolitan area. She is as comfortable working on a suburban residence as she is in a sleek, modern city apartment dwelling. In fact, the combination of commercial and residential projects, the variety of locales and clients' styles creates a spark that fuels her creativity. Phyllis is also a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner, which enables her to integrate Eastern methods and theories of design and balance into her practice. She is NCIDQ certified, a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, and now serving on the board as president. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. Currently the Award-winning firm has launched an exciting new book The Interior Design Productivity Toolbox, published by Wiley, which will streamline the processes and systems for Interior Designers, Students and the Design/Build community.
