Dana began her career in the design industry after graduating from college with dual Art History and English degrees. Her interest in the decorative arts lead her to work for Price Glover Inc., a specialty lighting and antique furniture vendor. It was there that she was first exposed to the residential interior designers and architects that frequented the showroom with their clients. Inspired to pursue a secondary degree, Dana attended the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID). After graduation she was immediately hired to work at the New York City based firm Victoria Hagan Interiors. While working for one of the nation's premier designers, Dana helped create beautiful interiors nationwide with most projects located in California, Connecticut, New York City and the Hamptons. After years of traveling to California, the native New Yorker decided to make a transition to Los Angeles. This move provided the opportunity to work at the prestigious Michael S. Smith Inc. where she continued to hone her skills with another pillar of the design industry. Over the last decade, Dana has managed dozens of projects throughout California and New York as well as residences in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Kentucky, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont and Wisconsin. Dana has also contributed to several projects that have been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Veranda and The World of Interiors magazines. Armed with the expanded knowledge of the California design market and her roots in the bustling New York City market, Dana launched her own design firm in late 2014. Dana is a Nationally Certified Interior Designer (NCIDQ #32313), a Certified Interior Designer in the State of California (CID #7092), and a Professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). In addition, Dana serves on the education committee for the SoCal chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA), and on the board of the Southern California Neo-Classicists. She was selected to be a designer in the 2015 and 2017 Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
