Debby Cooper has always had an eye for design. Her grandmother was an avid mid-century modern art collector who commissioned two houses by Marcel Breuer (a Bauhaus architect). Aesthetics were always paramount -- furniture, art work, linens, and even their utensils had to meet a rigorous sense of minimalism and functionality. An eye for design runs in the family. Her brother, also a designer, inspired her to join the field. Other family members are architects, art collectors, and art consultants.
