Courtnay Tartt Elias is Creative Director and Principal of Creative Tonic. Courtnay is known for her refined floor plans, lively color palette, passion for art and unexpected blend of diverse periods of style. Courtnay received her Bachelor of Arts in English Creative Writing with minors in Art History and Medieval Studies from Southern Methodist University. After graduation, she attended Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, where she specialized in 19th and 20th Century Decorative Arts. Courtnay began her creative career in marketing and special events for Gerald Hines and Brennan's of Houston prior to founding her residential and commercial design firm in 2005.
