Since 1961, Creative Fabrics, Inc. has been committed to providing quality drapery and upholstery fabrics to the design trade. Walter Reece, a furniture upholsterer by trade, started a small retail shop known as Reece Interiors that provided home furnishings and upholstery services. He realized at that time there were very few companies that offered fabrics on a wholesale level and thus, Creative Fabrics, Inc. was born. In 1977 his daughter and her husband, Patsy and Tom Robb, Sr., took a leap of faith and purchased the company allowing Mr. Reece to retire. The move gave Tom and Patsy the opportunity to move back to their home state of Texas. The Robb's sons, Tom, Jr. and Matt quickly became involved in the business. Creative Fabrics, Inc. is now a third generation family owned company. Tom, Jr. and Matt run the day to day operations and continue to utilize the advice of Tom, Sr. Tom, Jr. runs the office and warehouse while Matt is the national sales manager.
