With a degree in Fashion Design and Advertising from Syracuse University, I spent the first part of my career in advertising, including Advertising Director for New York Magazine. I then took on, “The design project of my life,” and raised a family. In 2003, I started Constance Hall Design, Inc. while studying at the New York School of Interior Design. My goal is to merge in-depth design knowledge with a pragmatic sensibility. I draw upon contemporary motifs as well as the historical styles of Europe, Egypt, Asia and Central America to inform my design projects. I work with clients to develop a complete vision of how they want their home to feel and function. Do you have three children under the age of ten? Are you empty-nesting? Are you starting, or re-starting life on your own? Varied life styles and preferences call for different design solutions. I work with clients to create interiors that make them feel comfortable, happy, and “at home”. I have extensive experience working with architects and contractors to execute all types of construction and renovation including additions, kitchen and bath renovations. I keep abreast of innovative materials, lifestyle trends influencing design, and construction techniques. Whether it’s an addition or an update of existing space, it is helpful to have a designer on the team from the beginning. Constance lives in Chappaqua, New York with her husband and has two adult children.
