CICELY MARKOFF Coming from a family of designers and artists, Cicely has been immersed in design her entire life. Working as an interior designer for 20 years now, Cicely focuses her work primarily on new construction and renovation residences. She loves being on the jobsite, working shoulder to shoulder with the builder and tradesmen, focusing on every detail of a house from the ground up. Her goal is to create a harmonious home where all the details, from the windows and doors, to tile and cabinets, to hardware and paint selections are in balance throughout the house and tell a related story. Cicely specializes in architectural review, space planning, material specification, kitchen design, color plans and custom interior finishes. Furniture layouts, custom furniture design and procurement are also Cicely’s interior design specialties. CMID uses 5 of their own workrooms for custom upholstery and draperies. CMID also employs several custom finish artists for specialty work on walls and cabinets. Cicely loves working on creating an entirely new space for her clients, either through new construction, renovation, or simply designing a new furniture layout. Providing her clients with a full range of services, from complete construction consultation and oversight to simple paint consultations, Cicely tailors her work to her client's needs. Cicely is known for her wide range of design styles, never narrowing her inspiration but rather reflecting her clients’ tastes and desires to create unique and personalized interiors. Cicely’s goal is to create harmonious, comfortable spaces, always considering the house as a whole, and creating spaces that live well for her clients and reflect their lifestyle. Known for her attention to detail and through communication and follow-up, Cicely has created trusting and long lasting partnerships with her clients.
