Gary Courtright first joined Carmel Kitchens & Baths in 2001. His background in high-end national custom woodwork manufacturing has aided Gary in his pursuit of truly custom designs. Gary is known for his impeccable eye and attention to detail. He has a talent for recognizing quality construction, materials, and finishes. His knowledge of construction, manufacturing, and finishing always shows through in his designs. “Carmel Kitchens & Baths has been serving the Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Monterey Bay area since 1980 with a reputation for honesty and integrity. This is what attracted me to becoming part of the team, and it is what I want to continue to be known for.” Gary enjoys the outdoors, regularly mountain biking or hiking with his wife and five boys. He also gives back to the local community in advocating for recreation areas, serving as president of Monterey Off-Road Cycling Association (MORCA), volunteering with his church’s youth organizations, and supporting Rising International. Gary's favorite design to date is a historic restoration of a Sears & Roebuck home. “The great attention to detail the project required was challenging, but the enthusiasm of the client and authenticity of the space was inspiring and fun.”
