My design work is based on refining key elements of scale, color and texture to create warm, comfortable, ambient spaces. Being a Libra, I migrate toward symmetry and balance and clean lines, however, I often like using big scale in architectural elements, furniture and patterns to create drama or alter visual proportions. I also love to introduce sophisticated color palettes and sumptuous textures on walls and fabrics to add richness to a room. I work hard at the beginning of a project to learn the details of how the space is used, both commercial and residential. I key on levels of formality, practical use, resale considerations and (of course) budget. My design terms can be versatile to fit the project, anything from hourly consulting to renovation or construction management. The best rewards of my profession are to see people "happy" in their homes or work spaces and know that my work helped create that feeling.
