With the last of summer upon us, I find myself wanting to be outside so as not to miss any of the remaining hours of sunshine and warmth. This back porch is the perfect place to do so. We reused the original hardwood flooring from the attic area. This master bath was very spacious, but the floor plan did not make the best use of the space at hand. We took advantage of unused space in order to make it best suit the needs of a vibrant family! We removed the bath tub in order to gain a large shower and separate. Having space to store everything is key to a well functioning home! It’s amazing how much simpler it is to maintain a tidy house if you have the framework for your storage areas well planned. Here are a couple of custom closets that I have designed for recent projects. Take a look at this sweet bedroom! The mid-century modern bedroom suite was sourced in east Tennessee. The vintage prints, bedspread and accessories were a part of a collection gathered over the years. Period appropriate lighting was restored and adds a great finish to this lovely guest room. This 1940's, post war home located in the Sylvan Park neighborhood is a sound little home, with so many great original features. Beautiful hardwood floors and original stained wood work are a couple of features that stand out. Playing off of the mid century elements of the home, we are planning a simple.
