I earned my BA in Interior Design from Washington State University and have been working professionally as a designer for 15 years. Most of my career has been spent in architecture firms such as ALSC Architects, Weber Thompson and Degen & Degen. This training has given me a technically strong background in space planning, drafting in AutoCAD and construction practices. But my true passion in design is what I like to call "the fluff" - furniture, art and accessories. This is something I don't think you can be taught, either you are good at it or...like artists, some are better than others. My definition of de-sign-er: a creative problem solver.
