You could say I have design in my blood. My paternal grandmother designed clothing, and when I would visit there was always something on the dress form. I remember being mesmerized by her collections of buttons and trims. My maternal grandmother is an artist, and interior decorator as well. Her sophisticated style shows in everything she creates. I am so grateful for these women and proud to have been able to grow up learning from them. While attending the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) I apprenticed under the award winning designer Lynn K. Jacobson. I learned from her the ins-and-outs of the business. Also, that to be a talented designer you not only need to work hard, but you need to live, and breathe creativity in your day-to-day life. Her timeless elegance has stayed with me and has had a profound influence on my work.
